Students in SEEC-SF programs can:
- Grow native plants for restoration projects
- Remove invasive species
- Examine adaptations of native plants to San Francisco's environment
- Learn about the ecology of San Francisco's dunes, grasslands, wetlands, and oak woodlands
- Examine processes of soil formation and decomposition
- Measure water quality and research issues of water source and supply
- Participate in quantitative monitoring of natural systems
- Investigate aspects of the food web
- Study local California Indian cultures
